Kate and Roxanne have delivered over 2000 babies at home since 1972.
Birth is one of life's greatest wonders and deeply touches all involved. We believe that a woman's confidence and ability are enhanced or diminished by every person who gives her care, and by the environment in which she gives birth. When birth is empowering, it is one of life's peak experiences.

Roxanne Cummings CNM has raised a family of five, all born at home. Initially educated in Special Education, she was called to midwifery to promote non-traumatic births for babies. Her devotion to support the formation of healthy families is influenced by her training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Childbirth and Parenting.

Kate Bowland CNM is one of the pioneer homebirth midwives in the U.S. She has worked for over three decades to make homebirth safe, legal, and available to women. She is the mother of two sons, both born at home. Educated as an artist, a nurse, and a midwife, she feels it is an honor to serve women.
